I'm so glad you're here and want to learn a little bit about me! I'm first and foremost a wife to my Rock and mother to our sweet daughter Lyla Jo. They inspire my creativity daily and are the foundation of my life. I'm soooo passionate about love and I adore photographing adventurous fun loving couples. My style is movement driven, specializing in authentic emotion and candid moments.
My photos aren't the only reason my clients choose me, it's about the experience I provide. From the time you inquire until your final gallery is delivered I'm here to help you. Whether it's choosing a wedding venue, picking out an engagement session location, or where to even begin with your wedding day timeline. I'm much more than a photographer, I'm a friend with a wealth of knowledge who is here to assist you on your journey.
My goal is for us to have fun together and I pride myself on making my clients feel incredibly comfortable in front of my camera. My creativity thrives outdoors and my session at sunset during golden hour always seems to be my personal favorites. Soooo what are you waiting for lets get to know each other!
When Sammy Jo first started the business she was looking for a second shooter who would listen to her directions, had some camera skills, and accept a zero dollar per year salary. I can't believe I was the only applicant! In all seriousness as the business has grown it has been an absolute blast working with my wife on wedding days. I truly enjoy photo/video and knowing that we get to work with couples on one of the most significant days of their lives is incredible. I look to be helpful, calm, cool, and collected on a wedding day to allow our couples to stay in the moment their entire day, and allow them to truly enjoy such a big life event. Beyond photography my passions are watching sports, thinking I'm going to be good at golf one day, the office and modern family, reciting every line of Remember the Titans, chili cheese and bacon hot dogs, sweet and sweaty wings, activities with my daughter Lyla Jo, efficiency in life, always trying to nail the perfectly timed joke, Moscow mules in the fall/winter, high noons in the summer, and dark chocolate peanut butter Kandy Kakes.
